Connecting a print provider lets you import its products and send personalized orders, with print files, straight to production. Customix works with Printify, Printful, Gelato, Prodigi, Printbelle, Printway, ShineOn, merchOne, Shirtee, Dreamship, CustomCat, Merchize, Teelaunch, Gearment, Casestry and more.

Step 1: Get an API key from the provider

Log in to your provider's dashboard and create an API key (usually under Settings, Developer or API). Copy it.

Step 2: Open Fulfillments in Customix

Go to Settings > Fulfillments. Each provider shows On when connected and Off when not. Click the provider you want.

Step 3: Connect

  • API key: Paste the key and click Check API Key.
  • Store: Choose the provider store to connect, if the provider has more than one.

When the connection works, the page shows Connected. Click Disconnect to remove it later.

Step 4: Set order options

Options vary by provider. For Printify, for example:

  • Default shipping method: The shipping method used for orders.
  • Send the shipping method of orders: Map the shipping rate customers chose in Shopify to a provider method.
  • Confirm orders automatically: Let the provider produce and charge each order as soon as Customix sends it, without waiting for you.
  • Allow fulfillment via Customix: Send orders when you request fulfillment in your Shopify admin, and bring tracking back to the order.

How it works

  • Import products from the provider in POD products and publish an option set to them.
  • When an order comes in, open it in Orders and click Request fulfillment, or request fulfillment from your Shopify admin if you turned that on.
  • The provider produces and ships the order, and tracking syncs back to your Shopify order.
