The Advanced section of an option holds settings you won't need every day but that solve common formatting problems, plus Global ID for keeping options in sync. Select an option, scroll to the bottom of its settings and open Advanced.

Advanced settings
- Move with bounding box: Keep the box frame fixed and let the text move and resize inside it. Double-click the text on the canvas to edit it.
- Prefix: Text added before what the customer types, for example "Est. " before a year.
- Suffix: Text added after what the customer types, for example " Family".
- Between characters: A separator placed between every character, for example "-" turns ANN into A-N-N.
- Between words: A separator placed between words, for example " & " turns "Tom Linda" into "Tom & Linda".
Customers still type just their own text; Customix adds the prefix, suffix and separators to the design for them.
Global ID
Global ID links options so they share the shopper's choice. When two options have the same Global ID, the customer only fills in one of them and the other follows automatically. This is useful when the same name appears on two previews or two print areas.
- Click the Global ID field (it shows Not linked by default) and enter an ID.
- Use letters and numbers only, up to 10 characters.
- Give every option that should share the value the same ID.
