A preview is one picture of the product that customers see while they personalize it. Most option sets need just one, but you can add more, for example one preview per product color, or a front and a back view. All previews share the same form on the product page, so customers fill in each field only once.

Step 1: Add a new preview
Below the canvas, click + next to your existing previews. A new, empty preview opens and becomes the one you're editing.

Step 2: Set the background
In the Settings panel on the left:
- Choose Product image and click Upload, or click the library icon to pick one of your Images or Mockups.
- Or choose Blank canvas and set a background color.
The canvas size follows the image you choose. For previews of the same product in different colors, use images with the same size and framing so your options line up.

Step 3: Import options from another preview
Click the back arrow to return to Options, click ⋯ at the top of the panel, and choose Import. In Import from another preview:
- Copy from: Pick the preview that already has your options (usually Preview 1).
- Tick the options you want, or click Select all.
- Click Import.

The options appear in the same position as in the original preview. Because they're linked to the same fields, customers still see each field only once on the product page.

Step 4: Adjust the style for this preview (optional)
You can change how an option looks on each preview without affecting the others. For example, on a dark product, select the text, open Colors, click the color field, and type a light color such as `#FFFFFF` in the picker.

Click Save when you're done.
Show the right preview for each variant
Once you have one preview per color, tell Customix which preview goes with which variant. See Assign Previews to Product Variants.
