The Upload photo option lets customers upload their own picture, such as a family photo, a pet or a logo, and see it on the product. You decide how they can adjust it, what shape it's cropped into, and which filters and effects are applied.

To add it, click Add option, choose Upload photo under Image, and click Add. A placeholder appears on the canvas: move and resize it to set where the photo goes.

  • Label and Help text: The title and guidance shown with the upload button.
  • Edit mode: How customers adjust their photo after uploading, for example Re-position on the full design. In Crop mode, a photo smaller than the print area is scaled up to fill it. Only applies when Editable is on.
  • Required: Customers must upload a photo before they can add the product to cart.
  • Editable: Let customers edit their photo after uploading.
  • Allow multiple uploads: Let customers upload several photos in this one option.

Content

Default image is the picture shown on the preview before the customer uploads their own. Use a sample photo so the product looks finished.

Mask

Crop the photo into a shape. Click Upload under Upload Custom to use your own shape, or pick a ready-made one: heart, star, circle, triangle, diamond, hexagon, pentagon or octagon.

Filters & effects

Filters & effects for the uploaded photo
  • Image color: Show the photo in Full Color, Grayscale or a Single Color.
  • Image mode: Fit the whole photo inside the area, or fill the area completely.
  • AI Filter: Click + to restyle the photo with AI. Choose a service, describe the style or pick a sample prompt (for example Christmas, Halloween or Lego), and click Apply AI Filter. The service must be connected first in Settings > Integrations.

  • Effects: Click Add Effect to apply Remove background, Face cutout or Sketch. Effects such as Cartoonized, Face cartoonized and Face swap need a service enabled in settings first.

Transform, Add-on fee, Advanced and Condition
